The ARC Show 2010 is now closed
The ARC Show 2011: 12-13 January, Business Design Centre, Islington.
UBM Live has announced that The ARC Show will relocate to the Business Design Centre, Islington next year. The show will take place from 12-13 January 2011.
The event is the only dedicated show for architectural, retail and commercial lighting in Europe, and features some of the world’s leading lighting brands.
Event Director Cathy Oates commented: “The ARC Show has established itself as the leading event for the architectural, commercial and retail lighting sectors. It provides this hugely influential audience with the opportunity to not only see the very latest products from the leading suppliers, but also attend one of the many educational seminars and conference sessions and networking events. To allow the event to incorporate all of these element more closely into the show floor we have decided to take The ARC Show back to its spiritual home with its fully purpose built conference and seminar facilities. This move can only serve to further strengthen the event.”
“We look forward to taking with us all of the enhanced educational and creative content that Earls Court Two has allowed us to incorporate within the show and continuing to provide the lighting industry’s number one event in the UK.”
The ARC Show also hosts the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) Enlighten Europe Conference, which will continue to run alongside the event. The Business Design Centre’s purpose built and integral conferencing facilities will allow the show to accommodate the excess demand for delegate places following this years sold out conference.
Paul James, editor of The ARC Show’s main media partner, mondo* arc magazine commented on the show’s move: “I see the move back to the Business Design Centre, the home of The ARC Show, as a tremendously positive move. It’s a fantastic venue in the heart of the design community in London. We had some great times there during the early years of The ARC Show and I look forward to many more in the years to come. The UK needs a good lighting event and I’m sure The ARC Show will continue to be a success.’’
The sixth edition of The ARC Show has just taken place at Earls Court Two (3-4 February 2010) where key lighting brands promoted their latest products. The event included a number of feature areas, including seminars from a range of key lighting associations and an exclusive preview of the Kinetica Art Fair.
The ARC Show 2011 will take place at The Business Design Centre, Islington from 12-13 January.
