The Launch Evening at The ARC Show 2008
Sponsored by the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), The Launch Evening at The ARC Show 2008 on 11th February begins at 4pm, from which time visitors can get a preview of the exciting new products being launched, whilst talking to exhibitors.
The events then kick off with the SLL Young Lighters competition which showcases the talents of the next generation of lighting designers. This will be held at 4.30pm in the conference room and will include presentations by all the finalists.
The highlight of the Launch Evening at The ARC Show 2008 promises to be a lively talk from keynote speakers Jonathan Speirs of Speirs and Major Associates and Amarjit Kalsi of Rogers Stirk Harbour & Partners. An architect discussing lighting? A lighting designer discussing architecture? Their provocative discussion starts at 7pm during the Show Launch Evening on 11th February and is not to be missed!
Following the keynote speeches and to round off the Show Launch Evening appropriately, coaches at 9pm will transport interested visitors to see Switched On London, the capital's Festival of Light running concurrently to The ARC Show. More information on the lighting projects involved can be found at www.switchedonlondon.com
Anyone who cannot attend The ARC Show between 11.00 and 17.00 during the days of Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th of February, will have the opportunity to visit after work on Tuesday 12th and attend a Drinks Reception from 17.00 to 21.00 sponsored by Ansorg. This is a great way to mix business with pleasure - network with industry contacts and friends whilst visiting exhibitors on their stands
