The lighting industry gathers at the Business Design Centre every February to source products, find new suppliers, keep up to date with the latest product launches and lighting ideas and catch up with contacts within the industry.

From manufacturers and suppliers of lighting equipment and technology, global distributors, to architects and lighting designers, the ARC Show is the perfect opportunity for you to meet with key industry suppliers and customers under one roof.

Due to the ongoing success of the show, and to give exhibitors maximum exposure to architects and designers, we are expanding the format of the show to include a preview evening with a keynote speaker from the architectural community. This is in addition to the extremely popular drinks reception and late night opening.

London is regarded as a hotbed of design and worldwide lighting specification. This status has continued to strengthen with UK-based architects, designers and lighting designers creating high profile projects all over the world.

The 3,000 visitors (ABC audit pending) to the 2007 show represented a 20% increase on the previous year's event, with over 60% of the audience being architects, designers or lighting designers. In addition, 16% of the visitors came from overseas (up from 10% the previous year) - a sure sign that The ARC Show is gaining an international reputation.

Based on research carried out at The ARC Show 2007, the three core areas of interest from visitors were Architectural, Retail and Commercial lighting which perfectly reflects the target audience for exhibitors. Architectural practices such as Future Systems, Foster & Partners, Farrells, Heatherwick Studio and Richard Rogers Partnership were present as well as retailers like Woolworths, Selfridges, Paperchase and Debenhams and representatives from Glasgow City Council, Birmingham City Council, Transport for London and many other local authorities.
