Proudly announcing Durham Marenghi as Curator of The ARC show 2012

Attend and witness the design expertise and, of course, theatrical contributions of the first event Curator; Durham Marenghi.

A passionate industry figure and representative of The ARC Show, Marenghi will bring his own mark to the show, providing  a creative focus on lighting design and product “….I want our event to touch on the more ‘fun’ aspects of our work and hopefully introduce and inspire architects to creative lighting design…” This promises to be truly inspirational!

The ARC Show Innovation Centre

A beautifully built area dedicated to only the best in ground breaking design and technology, the ARC Innovation Awards Centre will be your source for recommended industry excellence.
Winners and featuring designs will be chosen by a host of acclaimed names including;
Kevin Theobald - Lighting Designer and IALD President Elect, James Dilley - associate director of  Jestico & Whiles and  David Morgan - Product Designer.
Visit The Innovation Centre on stand M45 to cast your vote for the visitor's onsite winner and hear the full list of winners announced at 13.30 on Thursday 1 March.

Glow Stick Graffiti
Join students from Rose Bruford and UCL Bartlett as well as Light Artist, Michael Bosanko, as they entertain us with their temporary light installations on a guided walk around Islington.
Hear Michael speak on 29 February at 19.30 and then meet with these students and industry experts for this Light Graffiti Walk at 20.30

Brunel Design Students To Light Up The ARC Show
Innovative designs by Brunel University’s highly rated Product and Industrial Design course students are to be showcased at The ARC Show 2012 as part of The ARC Show’s LED Architectural Lighting Challenge sponsored by Remote Controlled Lighting Ltd (RCL)
Challenged with the task to create an LED architectural light fitting, innovative in the lighting effect, operation, mounting or in the way it fits into its surroundings, the winner will be announced at The ARC Show by a team of leading lighting innovators.
Winners will be announced on the Brunel stand, G38, at 18.00 on Wednesday 29 March. Meet and witness work by the next generation of leading designers only at The ARC Show.

Energy Solutions for your Lighting Projects, with Carbon Trust
The Carbon Trust will showcase its new service at this year's ARC Show which enables customers to source good quality, accredited lighting suppliers and competitive quotes for lighting equipment projects that can slash energycosts by typically 20%. The company’s new service will enable lighting suppliers and installers tap into a green equipment market worth £9 billion in the UK. Technical experts will advise existing businesses on how to source affordable finance to procure new equipment and projects to cut energy bills within their premises. The Carbon Trust is also inviting lighting suppliers to join their widely publicised accreditation scheme to access new customers and differentiate themselves in the market by using the new distinctive Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier logo. Carbon Trust will exclusively release an opinion piece on how to get energy efficient lighting projects off the ground, only at the ARC show. Attendees to the ARC Show can receive exclusive copies of this project when quoting a special code post event.
